Freeway Airport

Our office hours are from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Medium intensity runway lighting is pilot-activated by 5 clicks in 5 seconds on our CTAF frequency of 123.075. We have 100LL fuel available during office hours, pilot lounge, and a variety of pilot supplies.

-The Washington DC Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) is within 0.5nm of the west and south sides of the runway, all takeoffs and landings must remain east of the extended centerline. 

-Offsetting upwind 18/final 36 five to ten degrees to the east will keep you out of the FRZ.  Turning crosswind 18/base 36 before crossing Mt. Oak Rd will help with that too.

-Offsetting upwind 36/final 18 twenty degrees to the east will keep you parallel to the powerlines instead of crossing them. 

-Helicopters please use the grass field in the northeast corner of the airport, next to parking lot.  Please avoid hover taxiing over aircraft.
