Ground School Classes
Ground School is an important part of the training curriculum. This prepares you for both the written exam & flight training knowledge required to become a competent pilot. Freeway offers Private Pilot Ground school classes approximately once every two months, and Instrument /Commercial ground schools approximately once every four months. Class size is limited to 14 people so we suggest that you sign up as soon as practical. At the completion of the ground school course you will receive a graduation certificate authorizing you to take the required FAA written exam.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to hold your position in class. The balance will be due on the first night of ground school. If you must cancel your reservation for current session you may use use your deposit towards a future class date.
Private Pilot Ground School
Cost: $249 (Books, Logbook, Flight Computer and course materials are a separate cost of $379)
